Melissa Lynn Camp

It has been two years since Melissa went to be with her precious Lord Jesus and yet, her testimony lives on and still speaks to me today as loud as it did two years ago! I can still see her, lifting up her hands toward the sky, as we all worshiped Jesus in her's and Jeremy's living room, just a few weeks before February the 5th 2001. That is when God gave me this song. Remembering Melissa will always inspire me to be a worshiper of Jesus, to love God no matter what, to give him everything, my whole heart and to trust that He is in control. Melissa, I love you sister and, I look forward to see you again in heaven soon...We all miss you here but, the sweet memory of you causes us to want to live and love Jesus all the more and to "hasten the day" of His return... 2 Peter 3:10-13 says: But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up. Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells. NKJV Blessings to all of you! P.S.
